The Lord of the Rings is a fantasy adventure film series based on the novels of J. R. R. Tolkien. The series includes The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. The trilogy is the sixth highest-grossing film series so far behind Harry Potter, James Bond, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and Shrek.

The font used for the film title in the poster is very similar to Ringbearer, which was created by Pete Klassen.
